The 40 kilometer (25 mile) string of lakes called Kinaskan, Tatogga, and Eddontenajon that parallel Highway 37 are actually wide areas of the Iskut River that have abundant Rainbow Trout because they're continually fed by Iskut River water and nutrients.
Many other highway-accessible Rainbow Trout lakes are easily reached from Tatogga.
The float-plane based at Tatogga Lake can fly into remote inaccessible lakes close to Mt. Edziza and Spatsizi Parks that also have abundant Rainbow Trout.
Fishing permits can be purchased at a BC government office.
